1. Statutory 7-Day Cooling-Off Period (ECTA Section 44)

• Statutory Right to Cancel: In accordance with Section 44 of the South African Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (Act 25 of 2002), any consumer purchasing electronic goods or accessories through this website may cancel the purchase without reason and without penalty within 7 calendar days after the date of physical receipt.
• Zero Restocking Fees: We do not charge restocking fees, administrative penalty fees, or handling fees for items returned in accordance with statutory cooling-off rights.
• Pre-Dispatch Cancellation: If you cancel your order prior to parcel collection by our courier partners (The Courier Guy / Pudo), a 100% full refund is issued immediately.

2. 48-Hour Physical Inspection & Buyer Guarantee

Whether your package is collected from a national Pudo smart locker or delivered to your doorstep, every order is protected by our automated inspection window:

• Inspection Window: You have 48 hours from the exact timestamp of collection/delivery to open, power on, and inspect your device (screen clarity, bezel condition, battery charging, sensor operation, and accessories).
• Satisfaction Guarantee: If the item differs in any way from the listed cosmetic condition or specifications, notify us within the 48-hour inspection period for an immediate return authorization and prepaid shipping label.

3. Defective, Damaged or Non-Conforming Items

• Transit Damage: If a package arrives with visible physical damage incurred during transit, notify us within 24 hours with photographs of the packaging.
• Return Shipping Covered: If an item is defective upon arrival, does not function as advertised, or does not match the online description, JRG Electronics covers 100% of the return courier shipping costs.
• Remedy Options: You may elect to receive a replacement unit (subject to stock availability), an exchange for an equivalent model, or a 100% full refund to your original payment method.

4. Return Eligibility & Condition of Goods

To qualify for a statutory refund under the 7-day cooling-off period, goods must be returned in verifiable original condition:

• Smartwatches & Electronics: Must be unlinked and factory reset (Apple iCloud, Garmin Connect, Google Account, or Samsung Knox removed). The device must remain in the same cosmetic condition as dispatched, with factory serial numbers intact and all included cables/straps returned.
• Straps & Accessories: Must be returned undamaged, unworn beyond sizing verification, with original packaging and pins included.
• Exclusions: Items altered, disassembled, modified, physically dropped, or subjected to liquid ingress beyond stated manufacturer IP ratings are not eligible for statutory cooling-off returns.
